Dr Gavin Treanor

Gavin qualified from UCD in 2000. He joined the team in 2009, and he is a vocationally trained GP from the North East GP training Scheme. He holds a Diploma in Medicine for the Elderly, Diploma in Child Health and Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry. He has a special interest in shoulder and knee joint injections, dermatology, and the management of Chronic Cardiovascular disease. When he is not working, you will find him on the Golf Course!
Dr Sam Burrows

Sam joined the practice in 2018. She is a graduate of RCSI and moved to London to study a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine, which she was awarded from Queen Mary University London in 2011. She did her GP training whilst living in London and worked in the NHS and with various sports teams which enabled her to develop her interest in sports and exercise medicine and joint injections. In addition, she continues to develop her other interests particularly in Women’s health with a focus on fertility, menopause and preventative health screening. When she is not working, she will be either on, or in, the water, whatever the weather!
Dr Roisin O’Loughlin

Roisin is a UCC Medical graduate and is a vocationally trained GP from the South West GP Training Scheme. She has a special interest in Women’s Health and Dermatology. She graduated with a Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2012 from UCC before making the leap to GP. She has a keen interest in fertility, pre-conception care, menopause, benign gynaecology and contraception. She has completed the Certificate in Menopause Management (ICGP) and is a member of the British Menopause Society. She is an experienced LARC (Implanon, coil /IUD) inserter. She holds a Diploma in Practical Dermatology and Dermoscopy (2019) from Cardiff University. When she is not working, Roisin loves to be immersed in the great outdoors!
Dr Deirdre Nevin

Deirdre is a very experienced GP, who qualified from Trinity College, Dublin, in 2000 and trained as a GP in Cavan/ Monaghan area. She joined the team in 2011. Deirdre has a special interest in Women’s Health, including antenatal care and Menopause. She is a certified trainer with the Irish College of General Practice for the insertion of Mirena Coils and Implants, and performs these procedures in the practice. She is a scout leader in her local scout group.
Dr Eimhin Ansbro

Éimhín studied medicine at Trinity College Dublin. She worked in Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics in New Zealand and then completed the Trinity/HSE GP Training Scheme in 2012. She is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners. She holds postgraduate qualifications in Women's Health, Child Health and Medicine for the Elderly. GP special interests include travel medicine, women's health and chronic disease care. She also has a PhD, MSc(TMIH) and DTM&H from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and worked with MSF for several years. She Joined the team in 2024.
Tara Frayne
Practice Nurse

Tara joined the team in 2012 and has over 26 years of nursing experience. She has a background in health screening particularly focused on elderly people. She was previously involved in The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing. She is our Chronic Disease Management lead and is a registered smear taker with CervicalCheck, certified phlebotomist, and highly skilled in administering baby vaccines, and child and adult immunisations. She loves to travel and has worked as a nurse in Australia and the UK.
Suzanne Thornhill
Practice Nurse

Suzanne joined the team in 2024 and has had over 20 years experience in Nursing, gaining BSc in Adult Nursing in 2002 from Oxford Brookes University/ John Radcliffe Hospital. She gained her H.Dip in Midwifery in the National Maternity Hospital in 2009, and has a passion for supporting women in their new role as mothers, in particular supporting women on their breastfeeding journey (gained Lactation Consultant qualification in 2014). Suzanne enjoys sea swimming and yoga in her spare time and has an abundance of positive energy!
Grace Campion
Phlebotomist

Grace joined the team in 2020, and in 2021 became a fully qualified phlebotomist during the Covid Pandemic. Her background is in the airline industry and brings with her fantastic customer service skills. She studied legal medical administration in Marino College of further education and thrives in the practice environment. She loves the outdoors and is an eternal optimist as she is a Mayo supporter.
Aisling Clinch-Long
Practice Manager

​Aisling joined as our practice manager in 2008. Her background in human resource management and experience working for a financial institution enables her to manage the team, coordinate patient management, manage business operations and oversee the financial aspect of the practice. When she is not organising the practice team, she can be found kayaking on a weir practicing her rolls!
